CODES OF BEHAVIOUR

Downey Park Netball Association encourages all clubs to support their aims to reduce poor and unacceptable player, spectator and parent behaviour.  Codes of behaviour are provided by Downey Park Netball Association for all members respective to the role that they hold within our club and our association:

●    Codes of Behaviour - Junior Player
●    Codes of Behaviour - Senior Player
●    Codes of Behaviour - Umpire

●    Codes of Behaviour - Bench Officials
●    Codes of Behaviour - Media
 
Downey Park Netball Association encourages good behaviour through the “Positive or Pointless campaign. The basic principles reinforced through Positive or its Pointless are:
●    Sport for children is a vital part of their growing up,
●    Children like to win, but more importantly, they want to have fun,
●    Parents need to set the right example at the sports ground, not just at home,
●    Parents should be proud of their child’s effort, irrespective of the result, and
●    Sport is important to children’s self-esteem.

POLICY - BULLYING

As a community-based club we provide a safe and supportive environment for young girls, boys and women to participate in netball and fitness activities. Bullying or harassment of any kind is unacceptable.

You can make a DPNA game day complaint by completing the complaint form available at the control desk or on the DPNA website.

If you would like to make a complaint relating to an issue within Phoenix Netball Club email the complaints officer at president@phoenixnetball.org.au
